My Yoga path

I discovered Iyengar Yoga in 2012 with Eliza Bishop as my first teacher. By the end of my PhD in linguistics, Iyengar Yoga had become a significant part of my life, and since 2018, I have been practicing it intensively. I have traveled to India and regularly attend workshops with advanced teachers. In 2020, I began a mentorship with Katrin Voigt and Elizabeth Brass, which I successfully completed in 2023.

I have a daughter who  took part in the yoga mentorship while still in the womb. Through this experience, I gained valuable insight into yoga practice during and after pregnancy.

In the midst of our fast-paced and often absurd modern world, yoga is my anchor.

Originally from Norway, I love to immerse in nature and hiking and swimming.

Meditation is an integral part of my practice, and in my classes, students often spend a few extra minutes in seated postures. I have attended many Vipassana retreats and find that meditation is key for living mindfully and in the present moment.
